Food at Smash Factor comes from Miya Social's kitchen. Here are the questions guests ask most often.
Food and allergies.
- Which dishes are gluten-free?
- Gluten-free: Charcoal Chicken, Grains Salad, Steak Frites, 24-Hour Pork Belly, Roasted Cabbage, Fried Rice, Overnight, and Granola Bowl. These can be made gluten-free: Caesar Salad without croutons, Tiger Prawn without sourdough, and The Usual without sourdough.
- Which dishes are vegetarian?
- Vegetarian: Margherita Pizza, Bruschetta, Garlic Bread, Truffle Fries, Grains Salad, Roasted Cabbage, Cheese Croissant, Egg Your Way, Pancakes, Overnight, Granola Bowl, Avocado Toast. These can be made vegetarian: Caesar Salad without bacon, all pasta without meat, Fried Rice without meat, Eggs Benedict without bacon, Bacon Egg Roll without bacon, Smoked Salmon Rosti without salmon, The Usual without bacon, and BLT without bacon.
- Which dishes are vegan?
- Bruschetta and Grains Salad.
- Which dishes are dairy-free?
- Dairy-free: Bruschetta, Charcoal Chicken, Roasted Cabbage, Sate Ayam, Grains Salad, Egg Your Way, Smoked Salmon Rosti, The Usual. These can be made dairy-free: Grilled Prawns without the peri-peri butter, Chicken Wings without the Buffalo wing sauce, 24-Hour Pork Belly with fries or rice instead of mashed potato, and Avocado Toast without the feta.
- Which dishes contain nuts or peanuts?
- Miya Social doesn't use peanut oil in the kitchen. These contain nuts or peanuts: Sate Ayam, Avocado Toast, Grains Salad, Sticky Toffee Pudding. These have no peanuts: all starters; breakfast — Egg Your Way, Eggs Benedict, Pancakes, Smoked Salmon Rosti, The Usual and BLT; lunch — all pizzas, all pasta, Fried Rice, Charcoal Chicken, Tiger Prawns, all burgers, Steak Frites, Steak Sandwich and Chicken Schnitzel.
- Can dishes be changed for dietary needs?
- The kitchen can accommodate dietary changes as long as they don't involve changing the existing sauces or dressings. Pancakes can't be made without milk, pre-made sauces can't be changed, and salad dressings can't be substituted.
- What should guests with coeliac disease or a severe allergy know?
- We use the same kitchen equipment for all food preparation, so we can't guarantee an allergen-free environment or rule out cross-contamination. We'll do our best to minimise the risk by washing the equipment again and using fresh ingredients for your meal.
- How should a guest tell you about an allergy?
- Our servers always ask about food allergies when taking orders. If you have one, the server adds a clear allergy note to your order in our system, so the kitchen sees it when the order comes through and takes the necessary precautions.
- Do you serve pork? Are you halal-certified?
- Yes, we serve pork, and we're not halal-certified. For guests who don't eat pork: all starters are made without pork; at breakfast, dishes with bacon can have the bacon swapped for chicken or salmon; at dinner, Charcoal Chicken, Peri-Peri Chicken Pizza, Cajun Chicken Pasta, Prawn Linguine and Slow Beef Ragu.
- Is the drinking water and ice filtered?
- Our drinking water and ice are bought in from suppliers.
The venue.
- Is there a smoking area? Is vaping allowed inside?
- There is a smoking area outside. Smoking and vaping aren't allowed inside.
- Is there a kids' menu, high chairs or a baby change table?
- We have a kids' menu. We don't have high chairs.
- Are dogs allowed?
- Dogs are welcome in the outside area only.
- Is there parking?
- We have parking for cars and motorbikes, including a spot in front of Smash Factor.
- Is Smash Factor accessible for wheelchairs or prams?
- We don't have wheelchair access. The bathroom is outside.
- Do you have guest Wi-Fi? Can someone work on a laptop while others play?
- Yes. Guest Wi-Fi is available, and you can work on a laptop in the lounge while others play.
- Can guests play their own music or watch live sport?
- Yes, if you book a private room. You can play your own music there, and there is a TV for live sport.
Bookings and groups.
- Can we walk in without a booking?
- Yes, walk-ins are welcome. We recommend booking through the website.
- How do we book a large group or private event?
- We have 5 bays, with up to 5 guests per bay, and we can host up to 25 people. For groups of 8 to 12, we recommend booking the 2 private bays — they sit side by side. For bigger events, you can book the 3 open bays around the bar, or all 5 bays. We take a 50% deposit for bay bookings. There is no minimum spend.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before your booking, we keep the deposit.
- Can we bring a birthday cake or decorations?
- Yes, you can bring your own cake — there is no cake fee. Decorations can be arranged with us, depending on what we can accommodate.
- Can we bring our own wine or spirits?
- Yes. Corkage is Rp150,000 per bottle.
- Is there a dress code?
- There is generally no dress code. We recommend sports attire: closed shoes, a shirt, and shorts or pants. We recommend not wearing heels or thongs.
Payments and extras.
- Which payment methods do you take? Can we split the bill?
- We take cash, QRIS, bank transfer, and cards including Visa, Mastercard and Amex, with no surcharge from us. Bills can be split for up to 4 people.
- What time is last orders?
- The latest bay booking starts at 9pm. Last food orders are at 9:30pm, because Miya Social's kitchen is still open then. We close at 10pm.
- Can we order food to the bay?
- Yes. You can pre-order food with your bay on the website, or order when you arrive, until 9:30pm.
- Do you offer takeaway or delivery?
- Not from Smash Factor. Miya Social is on GoFood.
- Do you sell gift vouchers?
- Yes, from Rp100,000 to Rp500,000. Message us on WhatsApp to buy one. Vouchers are valid for up to 3 months.
- What happens if I leave something behind?
- Contact the staff on duty. We keep lost property for up to 6 months.
Playing.
- Can complete beginners play?
- Yes. Staff will explain how the simulator works before you start.
- Do you have clubs to hire? Can we bring our own?
- Yes. We have 3 right-handed sets, 2 left-handed sets and 1 junior set for hire. You're also welcome to bring your own clubs.
- Can friends come to watch without playing?
- Yes. Friends can watch without playing, and there is seating for them.
- What games can we play?
- You can play a course, use the driving range, or try a closest-to-the-pin challenge. It's a good fit for birthday groups.
